Jessie Jun Xing is responsible for leading strategic EHS planning, tactical and CapEx plans and execution of the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) agenda across all PepsiCo Global R&D centres, laboratories and process centres. And Jessie plays an important role to promote a strong safety culture across the PepsiCo global footprint. Jessie joined PepsiCo Global EHS team after 6 years as the National EHS Manager for PepsiCo Canada, where she also was previously responsible for leading the implementation and execution of PepsiCo EHS strategy across the PepsiCo Canadian Supply Chain and Sales Organization.
Jessie was born and raised in Shanghai, China where she finished her undergraduate education and became an environmental engineer. After that, she came to Canada to further pursue her education from York University and Schulich Business School and continue her EHS career. She also had working experience in Asia, Central Europe, the UK, and the United States. These international working and living experiences really equipped her with a strong understanding of different cultures. Today, Jessie leads a group of EHS professionals and supports PepsiCo Global R&D leadership team from 16 countries.
Prior to joining PepsiCo Jessie worked in a variety of EHS roles at Molson Coors, Knoll North America, and GE Canada. Throughout Jessie’s over 20-years of career, her success has been having a good balance between the business and people. Learning the business and leveraging the knowledge about operations and how EHS fits into that. It’s also about putting our people first. This starts with our people which are the heart and soul of this company and engaging them to create a sustainable business.
