Entrepreneurship: Founding Blade Air – Success Through Schulich-Connected Partnerships

Chelsea Grey is the Associate Director, Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Schulich School of Business with the mission of further developing the fast-growing Schulich Startups Community – now supporting more than 150 student/alumni companies. The Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship leads the development of accelerator/incubator services for the Schulich School of Business and its various programs, builds new partnerships throughout the wider innovation ecosystem and designs innovation-centric Work Integrated Learning programs.

Chelsea previously worked as a Delivery Lead with the widely recognized MaRS Discovery District where she supported large corporate and government partners (across health, environment and finance sectors) on their innovation journeys/strategies.  She has worked extensively in the public policy and health sector, while working with the World Health Organization and The City of Toronto and previously served with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, supporting the implementation of innovative interventions in the areas of public health and healthy cities.

Chelsea also previously worked as a business development consultant in Nepal, coaching small businesses on fair trade practices and certification processes.

Chelsea is a University of Waterloo graduate with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (BES) in International Development, with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies and Diploma in Environmental Assessment. In addition, she also holds a Master’s Degree in Global Affairs from the University of Toronto, Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy.
